ISD has successfully conducted the various activities since its inception
Implemented water and sanitation programme including awareness and construction of toilet in 50 no. of Schools in Erasama Block of Jagatsingpur district, supported by Oxfam GB.
During super cyclone phase ISD has stood with its commitment for the survivors of women and stepped up various programmes for rehabilitation of the distressed women supported by IGSSS
Under food for work programme the village women prepared their own meeting hall which now used as community houses and this initiative was supported by CARE at Pokhariapada GP of Erasama block.
Conducted a study on empowerment of tribal women in Panchayati Raj system in Sundergarh district, supported by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India.
Conducted an impact study on rehabilitation of bonded labourers in Rayagada district supported by State Institute for Rural Development (SIRD), Govt. of Odisha.
Formed and strengthened women self-help groups in rural area of Chandaka block as well as in different slums of Bhubaneswar supported by NABARD.
Implemented capacity building training for elected tribal women representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions in Sundergarh district, supported by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India.
Implementing a networking among NGOs who are running shelter homes for destitute women in the state of Odisha, supported by Oxfam GB.
Introduced DABBA LUNCH service in Odisha for providing alternative livelihood for the women of Bhubaneswar slums supported by Concern worldwide.
Implemented a project in the nomenclature of Preventing and Addressing Trafficking in Women and Girls in Odisha with the profound support of Global Fund for Women . The project intervention was made in a tribal area of Odisha state namely Daringibadi and Raikia Blocks of Kandhamal district.
Implemented various interventions and activities for effective implementation of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act-2005( PWDVA) to ensure justice to women facing domestic violence and punishment to perpetrators of violence at Kandhamal , Rayagada, Kalahandi districts of Odisha, supported by Oxfam India.
