et_block_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p><!-- wp:paragraph -->The\u00a0<strong>Maadhyam Women Support Centers<\/strong>\u00a0operate from the premises of the\u00a0<strong>Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar<\/strong>, and the\u00a0<strong>Mahila Police Station, Cuttack<\/strong>, to assist women who experience violence in any form and seek police intervention for redressal of their grievances.<\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><strong>Forms of violence against women<\/strong>\u00a0addressed by the Centers include:<br \/>broken relationships, sexual harassment, rape, molestation, eve-teasing, stalking, intimate partner violence, false promises of marriage, kidnapping and abduction, trafficking, cybercrime, voyeurism, and domestic violence.<\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph -->While the concerned\u00a0<strong>police stations<\/strong>\u00a0provide necessary action and legal recourse as per law, the\u00a0<strong>Maadhyam Centers<\/strong>\u00a0complement these efforts by offering\u00a0<strong>counseling and alternative support services<\/strong>, including legal aid, medical assistance, shelter, and livelihood opportunities.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Objectives of the Center<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>To provide counseling support<\/strong>\u00a0to women victims of physical, emotional, and sexual violence, including false promises of marriage, kidnapping, trafficking, cybercrime, voyeurism, and domestic violence.<\/li>\n<li><strong>To extend legal, medical, and Community based rehabilitation assistance<\/strong>\u00a0to women victims, including shelter facilities and livelihood support, as required, through ISD.<\/li>\n<li><strong>To organize Police\u2013Public interface meetings<\/strong>\u00a0to foster awareness and strengthen community participation in preventing violence against women.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Building Leadership Among Women Survivors in Slum area of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack City<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"et_pb_gallery_0 et_pb_gallery et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_gallery_grid et_pb_module\"
